Kristin Lee Davis Bio

Kristin Lee was born in Boulder, Colorado on February 23rd in 1965. Her parents divorced when she was when she was a young girl and she became the sole child. When her mother Dorothy was a university data analyst, got married to Keith Davis in 1968, Keith became her stepfather and adopted her. Kristin was able to move with her parents to Columbia, South Carolina early in her early years of childhood. Her stepfather later transferred to an institution. She resided in South Carolina from the time she graduated from high school in 1983 until this day. After graduation from high school, she relocated to New Jersey and attended Rutgers University. After graduation, she relocated to New York where she worked as a waitress, before opening her own yoga studio along with her friend. Her show was a huge success when she was chosen to play Brooke Armstrong Campbell (1992) on Melrose Place in 1995. After a year, the producers realized that her sexually explicit character was an issue and she quit the show. Kristin was chosen in 1998 to play Charlotte York in Sex and the City (1998). She was a key cast part of the show until 2004. Kristin Davis is a resident of Los Angeles. Columbia, SC was where her father, who was a psychologist, referred her to. After graduation from Rutgers University, she moved to New York and began her career in the field of commercials and classical theater. A friend of hers started an yoga studio prior to when she moved to Melrose Place (1992). In her free time, she loves running and spinning.
