Natalie Dormer
was born on 11 February 1982. She is an English actress. Her accolades include
winning an Empire Award, and receiving nominations for the Critics' Choice
Awards, two Gemini Awards and two Screen Actors Guild Awards. Dormer was born
in Reading (Berkshire) and made her television debut playing Anne Boleyn on the
Showtime series The Tudors. This role was praised by the public. Her stage
debut was in the show Sweet Nothings (2010). She also appeared in the Sweet Nothings
(2010) and was the Duchess in York in Madonna's movie W.E. (2011) as well as
Private Lorraine in Captain America: The First Avenger (2011). Her performance
in After Miss Julie (2012) at the Young Vic was praised. Dormer received
international recognition and praise for her role as Margaery Tyrell in the HBO
series Game of Thrones (2012-2016) and Cressida in the two final segments of
The Hunger Games franchise (2014-2015) that are her top-grossing movies. She
also played the role of Irene adler/Moriarty in CBS's Elementary (2013-15),
Sara Price Jess Price (2016, 2017) and Onica in The Dark Crystal: Age of
Resistance (2019). Her performance was praised for her role as the lead in the
mini-series Penny Dreadful: City of Angels (2020). Dormer was born on 11
February 1982 in Reading, Berkshire (England) as the daughter of Gary Dormer
& Claire Richards. She is also the sibling of Samantha Dormer and Mark
Dormer.
